Magician in North Merrick

Tonight I did a magic show for a 7 year-old's birthday party in North Merrick, Long Island. Fourteen very excited kids were more than ready for the show to start when I arrived. Despite the heavy rain I managed to navigate through the puddles and rush hour traffic to the show.
Mom and Dad were absolutely lovely people and their son was just a wonderful kid. After doing magic for so long you can pretty much sense when a party is going to be fun to entertain at. I knew right away this show was going to be fun.
I can't help but play to the adults at a kids' party. It keeps the show fun for me when I can mix in some improv humor exclusively for the parents. They love it because they are so used to being bored by kid show entertainers. When the parents come up to tell me how much fun they had it is always satisfying.
After the show was over I was in for a neat surprise. In the backyard of this lovely home were two Vietnamese pot belly pigs! How cool is that?
I love doing magic because of all the fun and interesting people and places I get to experience.
